Renovation of a multi-residential development in Rapid City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Any bid received after the closing time will be rejected and returned unopened. Each bidder must deposit bid security with the bid, payable to Pennington County Housing & Redevelopment Commission, and shall be one of the following: Cashier s check or certified check or draft drawn on a State or National Bank in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of all bid Items. Bid Bond, prepared on the enclosed form, issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and acceptable to the Owner, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total of all Bid Items. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, Section 3 New Hire requirements, & Liquidated Damage clauses apply for this project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a contract performance bond and a payment bond in the penal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as originally bid or subsequently modified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities and award all applicable contract(s) to the Owner s best interests. No bidder may withdraw a bid until thirty (30) days after the scheduled bid opening, without a written request explaining the cause of the withdrawal and without the written consent of the Owner after reviewing the cause.
