Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Simsbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of April 02, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. This project includes the construction of a 5,025-foot long 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk along the west side of Firetown Road, which connects the existing multi-use trail at West Street (US Route 167) to the existing sidewalk at Plank Hill Road. Grading, replacement of curb, retaining wall, new fence and replacing fence, addition of ADA compliant curb ramps, a mid-block RRFB crossing, landscaping, drainage work and other appurtenances are included as part of this sidewalk work. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Simsbury.
