Renovation of a fire / police facility in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Town of Great Barrington seeks sealed bids for the removal and replacement of the existing genera-tor For the Police Station 465 Main St, Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The current Generator is 40kW/50kVA, 120/208V, 3-PHASE Unit manufactured by Olypian, Model D40p1. Bidder is responsible for all aspects of the project scope to include supply of new equipment, installation, electrical installation, removal, and disposal of old equipment will remain the property of the Town of Great Barrington. Questions are due to Town Hall on March 10,2023, Email all questions to: Irichards@townofgb.org. The project is tax-exempt. The successful bidder will be provided with the required documentation. The Bid Security will be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the construction cost. After opening of the bids, all proposals shall stand available for acceptance for a period of sixty (60) days. Bidders are cautioned not to submit proposals until having carefully examined the entire contract area and having made all necessary investigation to inform themselves thoroughly as to the existing conditions and all difficulties involved in completion of the work. Failure to do so will not be cause for claim for extra compensation due to conditions not witnessed.
