The City of Claremont is requesting bids for the general maintenance of the Sawtooth Parking Garage area. This will be a year-round contract. Summer maintenance will include, but not limited to, the following; Regular maintenance and cleaning of entrance area of parking garage, and trash removal throughout the parking garage Weekly spot sweeping of debris, at entrance and stairwells Keeping all roof/floor drains clear of debris Small maintenance and cleaning projects as needed (i.e. pressure washing, cleaning windows, etc.) Winter maintenance will include, but not limited to, the following; Snow clearing and treating of sidewalk entrance to parking garage; to ensure pedestrian safety Snow clearing and treating of vehicle entrance to parking garage; to ensure vehicular safety Snow clearing and treating of top floor and a half of the parking garage; treatment must be Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA), or equivalent Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all materials, tools, equipment, labor and other services necessary to accomplish such tasks. The term of the agreement will be from October 1st, 2022 to September 30th, 2024. With the ability to negotiate and extend another two (2) year agreement.
