The City of Claremont is seeking sand bids for the winter seasons. The Claremont DPW expects to purchase approximately 1,500 tons of sand throughout each of the two winter seasons on an as-needed basis; quantities may vary due to the weather and/or severity of the winter seasons. The intent is to contract a two (2) year agreement - from September 1, 2022 to September 1, 2024. Prior to the bid submission bidders are required to provide a sample of the winter sand in a five-gallon pail along with a copy of the sieve analysis performed on the sand. Please deliver the sample to the Department of Public Works, 8 Grandview Street, Claremont, NH. All bidders must submit their bid on the enclosed bid form.
