**As of October 3, 2022 project is on hold since they're waiting for the deed correction. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Carmi, Illinois will be accepting bids for the demolition of the structure at 509 W Sycamore Street (Parcel 1313153001) , Carmi, IL. This demolition is being funded by the City of Carmi through the Illinois Strong Communities Program Grant. Interested contractors must meet the following insurance requirements: o Workmen's Compensation and ee's Liability - Workmen's compensation not less than the statutory amount and employer's liability of not less than $500,000 per person. o Auto Insurance - A minimum combined single limit of not less than $500,000 for injuries, including accidental death, or damages caused by the contractor's vehicles on the site. o Comprehensive Public Liability - Not less than $1,000,000 for accidents or injuries for each occurrence, and not less than $2,000,000 in the aggregate for the policy term. Illinois Prevailing Wage will apply in accordance with the Prevailing Wage Act. The City of Carmi reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
