** As of 5/18/23 This project has not yet been awarded. ** The scope of work provides for constructing an approximately 5,150 square foot preengineered metal building addition to a Vocational Building that has been constructed by a separate project for Southeastern Illinois College. The addition will house Industrial Arts vocational classroom, Seminar space, general classroom space, reception, workspace, lobby and circulation, and facility main entry. The scope also provides for installing associated utilities not included in the first phase of work, driveways, site paving and parking, landscaping and site signage. All associated ventilating, plumbing, and electrical work shall be included in the scope of the project. Associated wet-pipe sprinkler systems as specified in Section 21 13 13 to be part of the scope of work provided by the General Contractor. The existing conditions onsite consist of a preengineered metal building structure that houses vocational shops including a truck bay, auto/diesel repair, and welding shops. Preliminary site work has been completed to route utilities to the new structure, but final grading and site work has not yet been completed for the entire structure.
