The City of Warner Robins invites the submission of bids for the Site Clearing of overgrown vegetation located under the bridge/overpass area between Houston Lake Rd. and Lake Joy Rd. Site clearing activities include removal of trees and vegetation above ground, on side slopes, and basin floor but to include grubbing or removal of root balls and stumps. Undergrowth will be chipped and/or ground using mobile forestry equipment. Chips or shreds generated by mobile forestry equipment operations may be left in place. Standing timber will be chipped and/or ground using mobile forestry equipment. The limbs and vegetative debris generated by logging activities must be removed. There will be no long term piles of vegetative matter. Identified areas disturbed by machinery, must be graded, seeded and strawed upon completion of clearing work. Nothing in this Specification shall be interpreted as relieving the Contractor of the responsibility of meeting all applicable Federal, State and Local codes and regulations. It is the contractors' responsibility to verify measurements and request any general information or minor clarification by the allowed date. The successful bidder shall give satisfactory evidence to the City of Warner Robins that they and/or sub-contractor carries Worker's Compensation, in accordance with State Worker's Compensation Laws, and public liability and property damage insurance in sufficient amounts to ensure adequate coverage of the work, with the following minimum amounts acceptable: 1. Worker's Compensation & Builders Risk 100% 2. Comprehensive General Liability 1M/3M/50K 3. Comprehensive Vehicle Liability 1M/3M/50K All questions must be submitted through bidding system by the designated date and time of Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. All questions will be answered through system by the designated date and time of Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Each prospective bidder must upload and submit your bid with all required documents through bidding system by the designated date and time of Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. The bid will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities.
