Box 308, New Castle, Virginia 24127 The Craig County EDA is seeking Professional Engineers/ Architects to develop a site plan for a phased construction of a Farmers Market which will include Public Restrooms. The Farmers Market site is located at the Comer of Main & Middle Streets in New Castle, VA. This is a Joint Project owned by the County of Craig and the Town of New Castle and managed by the Craig County EDA. Our goal is to develop a phased site and construction plan for the proposed Farmers Market on a vacant lot. Initial plans are to develop the bid ready site plan, design the Farmers Market, and design and locate the Public Restrooms. Once bid ready plans are completed, the EDA will seek funding for construction from the joint owners, State, and Federal Grants. Construction plans to be completed within 120 days. The consultant will be responsible for bidding the project, analyzing, and prioritizing all bids with the following services: Engineer/Architect Services to include Project Management / Design / Specific Features / Bid Process I Inspection / Schedule. RFP to include the following: References from previous customers, 1-2 examples of similar projects the firm has worked on, Explanation of work process. List of current workloads. Identify individuals assigned to do the work. Resume of lead designer. How your company differentiates itself over its competitors. Estimated cost for Professional Engineers/Architects services.
