Site work for a water / sewer project in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work under this Project consists of the installation of a new gravity sanitary sewer main to include approximately 416 LF of 8" PVC C900 installed by conventional methods, the rehabilitation of approximately 253 LF of 8" gravity sanitary sewer and the rehabilitation of three sanitary sewer manholes. This Project also consists of the installation of approximately 430 LF of 6" HDPE DIPS/DR11 water main, the abandonment of the existing water main in place and a storm sewer point repair. This project is funded by Virginia Clean Water Revolving Funds. Work to be Completed in: 210 Days Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per calendar day after time for Final Completion has expired. Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Bid Security: 5 % Prevailing Wage Requirement: Yes The City establishes a project specific M/WBE goal that is a percentage of the dollar value of all services and goods the procurement contract requires (including any contingency). The M/WBE goal established for this project is 9%.
