Renovation of an industrial development in Centralia, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

As of September 16, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 27, 2022. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Install cables, conduit, vaults, and terminations necessary to extend the North Port Feeder NP-5 with 1100 mcm AL EPR cables from Foron Road to 3010 Harrison Avenue. This also includes connecting existing customers to this new circuit and connecting the Ryerson Steel facility at 3010 Harrison Avenue to this new circuit. Any electrical contractors desiring to bid this contract were to be prequalified prior to August 22, 2022. This is in accordance with RCW35.92.350. The City of Centralia are only making the documents visible to those that have been prequalified. If you would like to be prequalified as an electrical contractor or are working with electrical contractors that would like to see these bid opportunities you can find the prequalification forms to apply on the cities Procureware site in the Documents section on the left hand side. This contract will provide all qualified professional personnel, labor, supervision, construction equipment, and tools to complete circuit NP-5 extension to 3010 Harrison Avenue. The City of Centralia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Centralia encourages contracting procedures that provide M/WBEs equal opportunity to participate as subcontractor on City contracts. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by cash, bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Centralia, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid. The bid shall be labeled "North Port Feeder NP-5 Upgrade to Ryerson Steel Project Bid" on the envelope. The City of Centralia reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities in the bid or bidding. Questions regarding the bid documents should be submitted through the question portion of the website and all responses to the questions will be on the website. The City provides reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities. We invite any person with special needs to contact the City Light Department at (360) 330-7512 at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the Bid opening to discuss any special accommodations that may be necessary.
