The Project consists of: owner: Tangipahoa Water District Construction of a new 12" water main on the north side of LA22 (East) from east of C. C. Road west to approximately LA445, including about 20,000 LF of 12" PVC (PR-160) Water mains, approximately 2,000 LF of which to be directionally bored/jacked & bored; associated valves, fittings, reconnection of existing water services, removal of the existing (abandoned) water line, miscellaneous clearing/sitework, and all associated and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied Contract Term: 270 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders shall obtain Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday-Thursday), and 8:00 am - 12 noon (Friday) Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
