DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Remove existing steel pipe culverts and construct new steel pipe culvert along with associated traffic control, SESC BMP's, approach construction, slope protection and turf establishment. ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: Sept 7, 2022 at 12:00pm PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION (INCLUDE STREET ADDRESS) Bissell Creek Culvert Replacement, Mackinac County, north of Moran on RR grade at Bissell Creek (see map on construction drawings) Bid Deposit: 5% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% CONTRACT TIME; LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Work of all trades as specified in the Contract Documents must be completed in 60 calendar days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed or by October 1, 2023 based on Notice-to-Proceed except for minor replacement, correction, or adjustment items which do not interfere with the complete operation and utilization of all parts of the Contract Work. This Contract Time is of the essence and liquidated damages for each Calendar Day that expires after this Substantial Completion of the entire Work must be in the amount of $ 250.00 .
