Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Brevort Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of May 31, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. 1.19 mi of bridge rehabilitation of 1 structure including concrete curb reconstruction beginning northbound at Pier 1 on the Mackinac Bridge in the village of Mackinaw City, Emmet County to Pier 17 on the Mackinac Bridge, and joint replacement beginning at Pier 35 of the Mackinac Bridge and ending at Pier 48 in the village of St. Ignace, Mackinac County. Net classification required for this project is 5380 N9-1A In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Fa and N3. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.
