General Construction Contract (GC) D006028: A general description of the primary work elements for the General Construction Contract is listed below for reference. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all the drawings and specifications to obtain a complete understanding of the scope of work. Mobilization Erosion and Sediment Control, Site Preparation and Staging Installation of Temporary Controls Installation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Control Devices Tree Cutting and Chipping and Log Removal Final project cleaning and disposal Demobilization Closeout Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business - Contract D006028 6% Pursuant to Public Building Law 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,473,245 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2022). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder. The completion date for this project is 90 days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office. The Contractor agrees, in the event the Contractor fails to complete all the work on time, to pay the Office Liquidated Damages as per the General Conditions, Article 14.10, for each day of delay in the physical completion of the work. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of General Construction Contract (Estimate Range = $126,000 - $170,000) *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
