The City of Oldsmar is soliciting sealed Bids to furnish all necessary labor, supplies, equipment, materials and incidental items, for the Bid project entitled Reclamation Facility Aeration System Upgrades Project Questions regarding this bid should be submitted in writing to Kathryn Farrelly, Procurement Analyst, at purchasing@myoldsmar.com. All questions must be submitted by 2:00 PM local time on Monday, August 29, 2022. Sealed bids shall be in an envelope bearing the Bid Submittal Label provided in the Bid document and submitted on proposal forms as provided in Section V (or exact copies thereof). The City of Oldsmar reserves the right to waive any informality or to accept or reject any or all bids in part or in total. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of certified check, bank draft or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Base Bid, made payable to the City of Oldsmar, which check, draft or bid bond shall guarantee that the proposal be accepted. The successful bidder will, within ten (10) days after the acceptance of proposal, enter into a contract with the City of Oldsmar for the services proposed to be performed. SCOPE OF WORK: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, and incidentals to complete the Work specified within the Technical Specifications and Technical Drawings, which are part of this contract, associated with the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Aeration System Upgrades Project. The major elements of this Contract include the demolition of existing equipment, installation of three (3) multistage centrifugal blowers, air piping, valves, three (3) variable frequency drives (VFD)'s, replacement of aeration basin air diffusers in three (3) aeration basins, installation of new concrete walls within the fermentation/1 st anoxic/aeration basins, structural renovation/conversion of old headworks structure to become new blower building, process instrumentation, control panels, electrical panels, lighting, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System integration as shown in the Contract Documents. PRICING/PERIOD OF AGREEMENT: A. Unit prices bid of listed items shall be held firm for the duration of the Agreement. Duration of the Agreement shall be to commence Work under this Agreement with an adequate force and equipment on or before a date specified on the Notice to Proceed, and to fully complete all necessary Work within five hundred and forty (540) consecutive calendar days.
