This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Civida to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Lawn Maintenance and Snow Removal Services at various Civida-managed residential properties within the City of Edmonton and area, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). Civida-managed properties are split into five (5) property zones which are subject to change from time to time. The services under this RFP are required on a seasonal basis for all five (5) property zones under the following two (2) Service Categories (the "Service Category"): (a) Service Category A - Lawn Maintenance Services (b) Service Category B - Snow Removal Services A proponent may submit a proposal for one (1) or both Service Categories. Under each Service Category, a proponent may submit rates for one (1) or more zones. It is Civida's intent to enter into contract(s) with multiple contractors per Service Category. Civida will determine the allocation of zone(s) under each Service Category among the top-ranked proponents. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of Civida to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional terms of up to twelve (12) months each. The services will be needed on a seasonal basis.
