Per the owner, as of June 10, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation and they are waiting on FEMA review. The owner states that this project is anticipated to advertise for construction bidding in the fall of 2024 or the spring of 2025. Ownwer states that a timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. The City of Napa is accepting proposals from qualified firms offering Design and Engineering Services for the Hardening of the Milliken Raw Water Pipeline Project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) establishes the process for soliciting and evaluating Proposals for the design of the Project. This project is funded in part by FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The goal of this Project is to provide design services to reconstruct and protect the pipeline through slope stabilization, pipeline hardening, pipeline sliplining, direct burial, a combination of these, or other proposed solutions. The facilities shall meet current water system design standards for reliability, emergency operation and resilience, while retaining flow capacity equal or nearly equal to the existing pipeline and pumping system. The City will use the design-bid-build contracting method to deliver the overall Project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
