Site work for a water / sewer project in Cornelius, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This is year five of a multi-year project to replace corroded steel and undersized water mains in the City. This phase will replace water lines on: Fawn St (10th to 12th), 12th Ave (Fawn to Ginger), Elder Ct. (west of 15th), and S. 16th (Cherry to the extension of Alpine to the east). Replacing the substandard and deteriorating steel water mains saves significant water loss and reduces the City's maintenance costs. Project is in City of Cornelius - capital budget FY 2024-2044. As of March 17, 2025, project is under construction with completion expected in 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
