City of Cornelius is soliciting sealed bids for the Phase 4 Waterline Project located within the City of Cornelius, Washington County, Oregon. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor required to complete approximately 3,050 LF of water main improvements in accordance with the bid documents. The engineers estimate for the main project is $456,443. The alternatives add $213,379 to the main project cost. The project is subject to BOLI prevailing wage requirements. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor required to complete approximately 3,050 LF of water main improvements in accordance with the bid documents. The base project involves replacement of approximately 3,050 feet of water mains in the area South of Baseline between 8th and 18th Avenue. The new water mains are 8" and 12" C900 with associated laterals, hydrants, and gate valves. The old system being replaced will be abandoned in place and not removed for the most part. Additionally, a portion of the storm sewer system in a portion of the area will be upgraded in conjunction with the waterline project.
