Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Bid for 19th Street and Nation Road Roundabout. At said place and time, all properly received bids will be publicly opened and read. The project is described in general as "19th Street and Nation Road Roundabout - Project 2018B" in the City of Kearney, Missouri. The proposed work includes construction of a roundabout and approach roadways, sidewalks, and enclosed storm drainage system. The pavement type (concrete or asphalt) will be selected by the city as a part of the bidding process. Construction also includes clearing/ grubbing, removal of improvements, grading, erosion control, landscaping, seed/mulch and signage. The work shall be closely coordinated with the ongoing MoDOT interchange project at 19th Street and I-35, just east of this project. Bidders must fill out the on-line registration to request Bidding Documents, Plan Holders List, AND TO RECEIVE ADDENDA. A pre-bid meeting will not be scheduled for this project. Any written addenda issued during the time of bidding shall be covered and included in the bid. There will be no clarifications or exceptions allowed on the Bid. The City of Kearney, Missouri, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein.
