Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Removal of existing trees, shrubs, sod and topsoil as required. .2 Excavating and placing corrugated pvc subdrain and subdrain outlet around the building. .3 Installing four catch basins for maintenance purposes. .4 Excavating and placing of aggregate base material around the building and at building entrances in preparation for the future asphalt concrete sidewalk. .5 Placing and grading topsoil to ensure positive drainage away from the building and placement of hydroseed. .6 Removal and disposal of existing concrete slabs and wooden structures at the building entrances. Placement of patio stones at the building entrances as a temporary solution until the future asphalt concrete sidewalk is installed. .7 Installation of an erosion control structure in the ditch South of the building. .8 Installation of asphalt concrete is not included in this conctract. The intent of this contract is to complete the sitework to resolve the drainage issues and prepare the aggregate base layer for the future sidewalk around the building. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
