As of June 7, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified and project is in desigh phase. There is no timeline yet for contractor bidding or construction. DGS-30-300 This project addresses severe flooding and drainage problems impacting the campus that have damaged facilities and have limited the University's ability to utilize otherwise available space. Other traditional and non-traditional spaces might have been available as instructional space, but drainage issues and water intrusion precluded their use due to space quality and unreliability in the event of a storm. The Improve Campuswide Drainage project will repair erosion damage, provide outfall stabilization, convert select open water stormwater management facilities to usable land, and address the inadequacy of the current storm sewer infrastructure in the historic district of campus. This project will include: A. Stream Restoration at Lockett Hall B. Physical Plant Service Road Erosion Repair and Outfall Stabilization C. Conversion of Open Water Stormwater Management Facilities to Usable Land D. Final Stabilization of Ettrick Properties E. Fleets Branch Stream Restoration F.
