The District is seeking proposals for a qualified vendor to provide the District a fully integrated two-way power line carrier AMI system, to replace the existing legacy remote read (TS1/Turtle) electrical metering system. The District will be responsible for the installation of all substation and related AMI equipment, and communication between the substations and meters. The successful vendor will supply the AMI electric meters and equipment for substations, as well as provide all necessary training and support, software, equipment testing, and data-management services required to support the new AMI system. The District will select in its sole discretion the vendor that provides the most long-term value to the District. The District may in its sole discretion decide to reject all proposals and request new proposals. The District has approximately 9,800 electric meters. The District reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time, or issue amendments or corrections. The District reserves the right to award this contract, or to not award this contract.
