The envelope shall be clearly marked on the outside with the Bidder's name, address, phone number, date and time of the Bid Opening, anddesignated as the Soccer Park Phase 1 DrainageImprovements Project; Attn:City Clerk. In general, the elements of the Work include, but are not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other incidental items for the demolition of an existing walkway, the construction of two concrete walkways and regrading a drainage swale in the Jackson Soccer Park. A pre-bid conference will not be held, but prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the Soccer Park located at 2275 South Farmington Road before submitting a bid. The City of Jackson hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any Contract entered intopursuant to this invitation, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, ornational origin in consideration of award.
