As of May 1, 2023, the project has been awarded, construction is underway and nearing completion, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been confirmed at this time. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid, A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Mount Pleasant or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Mount Pleasant reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
