Midvalley Improvement District is soliciting bids for construction to replace the sewer pipeline in Unionwood Drive to eliminate infiltration. The WORK comprises construction to replace the sewer pipeline in Unionwood Drive to eliminate infiltration. The WORK comprises construction to replace the sewer pipeline in Unionwood Drive to eliminate infiltration. Work consists of the removal of existing 8" concrete- lined sewer pipe and replacing with 8" PVC sewer pipe approximately 613 LF, reconnecting 19 service laterals, and modifications of 5 - 4' sewer manholes and associated work including but not limited to all excavation, dewatering, shoring, concrete, backfill, bypass pumping, traffic control, and site restoration necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications to eliminate groundwater infiltration to the sewer system. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bidder's price. : The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways
and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging,
ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy
conservation
