Renovation of a mixed-use development in Midland Park, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of November 4, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. Pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238), bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Bidders must comply with the requirements of The Law Against Discrimination, set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:2-1, et seq., and Affirmative Action, set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq. M. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-6.3(a) (4), bidders must submit an executed C.271 political contribution disclosure form in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.26. Bidders and subcontractors identified in the bid must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders shall pre-qualify as required by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and each bid shall be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18-32. All inquiries concerning prequalification should be directed to Division of Property Management and Construction, Taxation Building, 8th Floor, West State and Willow Streets, Trenton, New Jersey 08625. Bidders shall be prequalified in Categories C029, C030, C032, C047 and C008 or C009 . Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. concerning Public School Contracts Law. Bids shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following Bid for Re-Bid Rooftop Unit Replacement at Godwin School and Midland Park High School. In order to ensure the proper control of the bidders list, and proper legal distribution of required Addenda and Clarifications, Bid Documents must be procured through the website of Solutions Architecture. Contractors must register with the site to be included on the current bidders list, so that any and all updates (addenda, clarifications, modifications) can be provided in writing in a timely manner. Should the Bid Documents be procured through other, outside agencies, the obligation for receipt of all updated documentation and potential risk of disqualification, for not having it, will rest with the contractor.
