Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Godfrey, Illinois. Completed plans call civil work for a primary / secondary education facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Asbestos Abatement of interior and exterior asbestos containing materials in order to prepare for the upcoming renovation. All plans and specifications can be obtained by contacting wynter@farmerenv.com. CONTRACT TYPE Bids will be based on a single lump-sum asbestos abatement price. Bids shall include not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Minority and Female Business Subcontractor/ Supplier is desired. Illinois Preference Act (IL. Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Par. 2201-2207) shall apply on all public works projects. Contractor will be required to sign a Project Labor Agreement upon acceptance of bid. BID STIPULATIONS Bid Security is required in the amount of five (5) percent of Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full amount of the bid accepted. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding, and to award a Contract for any part of the Work or the Project as a whole.
