The purpose of this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) is to solicit competitive Responses from companies that can provide or provide and deliver all materials (lime rock and crushed stone) to a JEA primary location, and also provide or provide and deliver materials throughout JEA's service areas located within Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Nassau counties. JEA requires the supply of lime rock and crushed stone for stabilization and road bases, including FDOT roadways All questions must be submitted in writing to the JEA Buyer listed below at least five (5) business days prior to the opening date. Participants may also submit questions directly by emailing to: Sr. Purchasing Agent: Darriel Brown E-mail: browdd@jea.com This Contract shall commence on the effective date of the Contract, and continue and remain in full force and effect as to all its terms, conditions and provisions as set forth herein for five (5) years, or until the Contract's Maximum Indebtedness is reached, whichever occurs first. It is at JEA's sole option to renew the Contract. It is at JEA's sole option to renew the Contract for an additional one (1) year period. In its sole discretion, JEA reserves the right to withdraw this Solicitation either before or after receiving Responses, to reject any and all Responses either in whole or in part, with or without cause, or to waive any Solicitation requirement informalities, minor irregularities, and deficiencies in any Response, and to determine such actions as are in the best interest of JEA to the extent allowable under applicable laws. Issuance of this Solicitation in no way constitutes a commitment by JEA to make an Award or enter into a Contract.
