Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rapid City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project includes the reconstructing/widening of Sheridan Lake Road from and including the intersections of Corral Drive and Catron Boulevard. Work included is channel grading, storm sewer installation, sidewalk construction and grid block retaining walls. Each proposal must contain a certified check or cashiers check for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, and such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in this state and payable to the City of Rapid City, Rapid City, South Dakota, as a guarantee of the Bidder entering into a contract for the construction of the work and furnishing of a 100 percent (100%) performance bond. After this has been accomplished, the Bidder's check or bid bond will be returned, and the checks or bonds of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon thirty (30) days after the bids have been opened. Liquidated damages will be charged as specified in the Rapid City Standard Specifications, with the exception that the amount of liquidated damages. Instead, liquidated damages for the project will be charged at a rate of $5,000.00 per working day for failure to complete the final surfacing and for failure to complete the project on or before the specified completion dates All work shall be complete by October 3, 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive all informalities and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of and is in the best interest of the City of Rapid City.
