Site work for a day care center in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a day care center.
A general description of the scope of work is as follows (and as noted on Drawings): a. Installation of construction access road and laydown area. b. Installation of erosion & sediment control works (best practice measures & per tender drawings) including removal once project is complete, c. Stripping and removal of existing grass field and unsuitable material to competent subgrade (geotechnical report attached), within gravel pad and play area footprint, d. Location of existing utilities within the project area e. Installation of water servicing, sanitary sewer servicing, storm sewer servicing works, f. Installation of electrical/communications works, g. Placement of structural fill (gravel pad), subbase, base course, and topping surface. h. Restoration of asphalt and concrete walkways, slabs, parking areas etc., i. Pave new parking lot area, j. Finished grading and placement of topsoil & seed. k. All surface restoration of project perimeter to match existing conditions or better. l. Include sub-trades as required.
