The specifications and drawings are intended to supplement but not necessarily duplicate each other. Any work exhibited in the one and not in the other shall be executed as if it had been set forth in both so that the work will be constructed according to the complete design as determined by the City. Should anything necessary for a clear understanding of the work be omitted from the specifications and drawings, or should the requirements appear to be in conflict, the Contractor shall secure written instructions from the City before proceeding with the work affected thereby. The City is seeking responses for a qualified contractor to install a single conduit from an existing handhole near the curb to the edge of the home. The conduit shall be swept into the handhole and capped by an appropriate means at the house. See Exhibit A for example.
