The Schools of Guntersville is accepting bids for grounds maintenance on the campus of Guntersville Middle School, approximately 8.5 acres, located at 901 Gunter Avenue in Guntersville Alabama, 35976. Services provided involve the main school building, the Park, the Student Services building, and the lot next to SSB. 32 Lawn maintenance visits that include mowing, trimming, edging as needed, and blowing and debris removal. o Leaf clean-up 3 times per year. o Shrub trimming and clean-up 2 times per year. o Plant bed maintenance (mulch and plants not included) as needed, 1 time per year. Bid as an alternate: o Herbicide application to lawn adjacent the main building, and front lawn, 6 times per year, material cost included. o Pre-emergent application to lawn adjacent the main building, and front lawn, 6 times per year, material cost included. o Fertilizer application to lawn adjacent the main building, and front lawn, 3 times per year, material cost included. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and will award the project based on the best value and the financial interests for the Guntersville City Board of Education.
