As of July 1, 2024, an engineer has been selected. Design has reached 30% submittal stage and is estimated to be completed in January 2025. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), in accordance with 40 USC 1101-1104, the City of Oakland Park ("City") is soliciting responses from qualified firms to provide design and engineering services for 438116-1 NE 34th Court from NE 12th Terrance to NE 16th Avenue. This project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP). The project includes the design and improvements from a 2-lane open-drainage system with limited landscaping areas, into a 2-lane closed-drainage roadway with shared bicycle lanes and pedestrian sidewalks specifically located to provide an enhanced experience for all modes of transportation. This project also includes proposed stop conditions which will help calm traffic, provide speed reduction improvements, and provide positive guidance for pedestrian and bicycle crossings. No Pre-Bid Conference Available All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Oakland Park Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person.
