The City of Carson ("City") Community Services/Parks and Recreation Department requests written responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors interested in providing one or a combination of the following professional services for special and divisional events: videography services, photography services, and sound production services, which may also include rental of sound instruments or equipment, all as more particularly detailed in the Project Scope and Specifications section below. Events include but not limited to: Cajun and Blues White Linen Festival, Jazz Festival, Women's Health Conference, Larry Itliong Day, Country Western Fair, Children's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Faith, Friends & Family Festival, Philippine Independence Day, Juneteenth Celebration, Samoan Heritage Day, Winterfest, Earth Day, Cesar Chavez Tribute, and Memorial Day (the "Events"). The term of the agreement shall be for up to three (3) years with an option for two (2) one-year extensions beginning November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2025. The bidder is to have at least 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following services for special and divisional events: sound, videography, and photography, and provide its qualifications in its proposal. Bids will include list of professional affiliations and references. Bid submissions will include minimum and additional hour rates for service that will be provided at the Events along with additional rental costs for sound equipment, if available. In addition to the foregoing rates, proposers may provide a per hour charge for additional services that may requested beyond the Events.
