The Sudbury Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Musketahquid Village Elderly Development, 667-1, Fairbank Circle, Old Meadow Road & Pine Street, 705-4, 8 Oakwood Avenue, 705-1E, 2 Beechwood Avenue, 705-2A, 9 Richard Avenue, 705-2B for the Sudbury Housing Authority in Sudbury, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Leonardi Aray Architects, LLC. The Project consists of: Attic insulation, ventilation and air sealing The work is estimated to cost $136,828 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. For projects with an estimated construction cost of over $100,000, by DHCD contractual requirement, General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), according to Article 2.1 in Section 00.21.00 Instructions to Bidders, in the category of: General Building Construction No Filed Sub Bids are required. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on registering as an electronic bidder. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Sudbury Housing Authority. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00 Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set, payable to the Awarding Authority, to cover mail handling costs.
