Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to renovate approximately 2,400 square feet of 3rd floor Dialysis Suite within the existing medical center. The work is to be accomplished in a single phase. The work includes selective demolition, general construction, and alterations (including necessary removal of existing finishes, millwork, and certain other items). Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required demolition and construction work on this project including Architectural Modifications, Plumbing Systems and Electrical Systems as described in the Specifications and indicated on the Construction Documents. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA building codes. Work is scheduled to be performed during the normal daytime business hours of the medical center excluding federal holidays. All activities that affect patient care will be completed outside normal work hours. Deviations from normal working hours must be approved in writing from the Contracting Officer no less than 72 hours in advance.
