Bid bonds should be issued by a bonding company licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan to conduct the business of a surety, or (b) a signed, certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price naming SHA as payee. If no contract is awarded, all Bid security will be returned. 24. Contract Security: Each Bidder shall include with its Bid a consent of surety, stating that the surety providing the bid bond is willing to supply a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond, as specified in the Contract Documents. Payment for performance and labour and materials payment bonds shall be included in the Bid price.
