The undersigned hereby proposes to furnish to the Board of Water Works Trustees of the Des Moines Water Works, the estimated requirement of sodium hypochlorite of approximately 369,141 gallons for the year 2023. This sodium hypochlorite will be used for municipal water supply. The undersigned hereby states this product meets or exceeds the latest revision of AWWA Standard B300 for sodium hypochlorite and shall contain 12.5% NaOCl by weight. DMWW reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications. Approximately 214,244 gallons will be delivered to: Fleur Drive Treatment Plant 408 Fleur Drive Des Moines, IA 50321-1190 Truck deliveries to Fleur Drive will be weighed before and after product is delivered. Approximately 91,252 gallons will be delivered to: McMullen Plant 12223 SW Maffitt Lake Road Cummings, Iowa 50061 Approximately 63,645 gallons will be delivered to: Saylorville Water Treatment Plant 6500 NW 26th Street Des Moines, IA 50313 NOTE: Des Moines Water Works will only enter into agreements with vendors willing to maintain price stability for all of calendar year 2023. The successful supplier will be expected to enter into a contract for the year of 2023, covering any part less than or greater than the total estimated quantity to be furnished at the quoted price. Payment will be made after invoice has been received in our accounts payable department. The Des Moines Water Works reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, to waive informalities in any quotation and to accept the quotation which it determines to be in the best interest of the Des Moines Water Works.
