The CSAC or Community Safety and Awareness Center (aka Real-Time-Crime-Center) was originally constructed in 2020. Phase 2 will include the addition of a video wall in the CSAC, as well as, a video wall in the GPD Hall of Heroes, which is the Emergency Operations Center for the City. Also, an interactive video wall software addition to enable visualization to show imagery and data sets on multiple video screens at once, while easily transferring video and other items from screen to screen, similar to "Hiperwall." The video integration should be able to take in multiple and various video and data sets all at once. All responses must be uploaded, in pdf format, to before the due date and time to be considered for award. The platform will not accept late submissions. Modifications to the response must be uploaded before the Due Date/Time as well. Letters of withdrawal received after the Bid/Proposal Due Date or after contract award, whichever is applicable, are late and will not be considered. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby cautioned not to contact any member of the city of gainesville staff or officials other than the specified procurement representative. The uploaded Tabulation Sheet may include the names of bidders whose submittals are not complete. Further, until City staff have sufficient time to review all submittals for compliance, some submittals may later be found to be non-responsive. The City only posts the notice of award electronically. The City reserves the following rights: to waive clarifications and exceptions in awarding the bid/proposal in the best interest of the City; to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals; to waive any or all irregularities; and to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive Bidder/Offeror whose bid/proposal is determined by the City to be in its best interest.
