Project Number-2022-07.03 Harrisburg Area Community College seeks bids from qualified Contractors to construct the Cooper Culinary Demonstration Classroom. The project is located at the Cooper Student Services Building, Wildwood Campus, Harrisburg PA. Harrisburg Area Community College is committed to providing opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises (WBE). OWNER encourages MBE and WBE firms to submit a Proposal for the Work and all bidders to proactively solicit MBE and WBE firms in the bidding and subcontracting process. The work will be performed under a Single Prime Contract and consists of the conversion of a former Subway restaurant located within the Cooper Student Services Building on the Wildwood Campus of the College to a Culinary Teaching Classroom. Work in the approximately 1,000 sf area will include, but is not limited to, selective demolition of old finishes, equipment and infrastructure. New metal stud and gypsum board partitions will be constructed. New mechanical, electrical and plumbing piping conduit and ductwork will be installed and connected to existing building systems to accommodate the new program. New flooring and wall finishes will be installed. New acoustic ceiling grid and salvaged and owner-provided tile will be installed. Temporary partitions will be erected and maintained to mitigate dust and debris migration through the occupied building as well as to ensure the safety of other occupants in the building.
