The Unitarian Universalist Society of Grafton and Upton (UUSGU) is seeking proposals for architectural and engineering services to improve handicap accessibility to the church building. Design a shaft-way, specifications and cost estimate for a vertical platform lift (wheelchair lift) to provide access between the first and second floors of the church building. The preferred location, based on a preliminary assessment and measurements by members of the congregation and an earlier architectural feasibility study, is located inside the left entrance door as viewed from Grafton Common. This door is handicap accessible with a power door opener, a wheelchair accessible landing, a sidewalk leading to the landing and adjacent handicap parking. Specified Services(all chosen) Architect Engineer Designer Fee Set Fee Not to exceed $18,000 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
