Notice is hereby given by the Greater Vancouver Water District ("Metro Vancouver") of its intent to contract with BGC Engineering Inc. (BGC). This contract is to conduct an East Mackay Creek Watershed Drainage Assessment. The assessment will contribute to ongoing monitoring in the Mackay Creek Basin, as it pertains to debris flow mitigation and associated infrastructure. The assessment has a value of $25,000 and is anticipated to be complete during the fall of 2022. Service providers wishing to object to this decision should submit their response through the Bidding System presenting specific reasons for their objection. If warranted, a meeting with the parties may be called to receive presentations regarding this contract. Consultants with the required expertise, experience, resources and the proven ability to offer the same or better services at a lower cost in the same timeframe will be key criteria with regard to the consideration of Contractor objections. Metro Vancouver's decisions in this regard will be final.
