The Edgartown Wastewater Department invites bids from qualified and experienced contractors for Oncall Mechanical Maintenance Services for the Edgartown Wastewater Facility. The Contractor(s) shall be expected to perform routine and emergency mechanical maintenance services at the Edgartown Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 330 West Tisbury Road, Edgartown, Massachusetts and it seven (7) collection system pump stations. Mechanical maintenance services include, but are not limited to, repairing and installing pumps, valves, piping, mixers, dewatering machines or other equipment as commonly found in a wastewater treatment facility or collection system. Bids must include all the required materials and information; award will be made within fifteen (15) days after the due date. Bidders must submit a five percent (5%) bid deposit with their bid. Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 149, sections 26 and 27, the Division of Occupational Safety has determined the Prevailing Wage Rates for this work and they are included as part of the bid package. The Town of Edgartown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in its best interest.
