The Town of Brattleboro is requesting price proposals for screened 9/16 winter sand. The Town will purchase approximately 3,000 cubic yards during the 2022-23 season. Sand should meet the Town of Brattleboro 9/16 Winter Road Sand Specification. Samples may be collected by the Town from the bidders' sand source and tested prior to bid acceptance. Two price proposals are requested for both pick up versus delivered, and both proposals are to be submitted in both tons and cubic yards. A weight of 89 lbs. per cubic foot will be used when comparing quotations of tons versus cubic yards. If delivery is chosen, the sand should be delivered by Friday, November 4, 2022.
