The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT"), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide equipment with experienced, licensed operators to perform snow and ice removal services on VDOT maintained Interstate routes, and entrance and exit ramps throughout Wythe County of the Bristol District, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Snow Removal season is defined as October 15 of each year through April 30 of the following year. Zone D: I-81 Wythe County from mile marker 73 to mile marker 87.3 and I-77 Wythe County mile marker 33 to mile marker 24.2 Any questions regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be addressed to Chelsa Taylor, chelsa.taylor@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of questions or other matters raised. Provide questions by close of business five (5) days prior to the bid due date.
