The scope of work for the Winagami-Girouxville Canal will include: Background Information: Review available drawings, reports, and other available data. Assessment: Develop basins and sub basins for the points of interest indicated in Figure 2.1. Assess the flow frequency and related hydrographs of the contributing area to the Canal in each reach of the Canal system - labeled 1-10 in Figure 2.1. Conduct the hydraulic assessment of the Canal that includes the conveyance capacity at each location labeled 1-10 in Figure 2.1. Based of the hydraulic capacity assessment of the Canal, present options that control and/or mitigate the impact of flooding in the vicinity of the Canal. The options presented must provide the feasibility and risks of implementing them and identify any land that may need to be acquired and/or surface and subsurface infrastructure that may need to relocated. Assess the socio-economic costs and societal-benefits to determine the feasibility of the proposed options Outline the regulatory requirements and provide an assessment of the environmental impact(s) associated with the proposed options. Identify and comment on land use change(s) and potential impacts to proposed options. The scope of work for the South Heart River Dams will include: Background Information: Review available drawings, reports, and other available data. Assessment: 1. Assess the flow frequency and related hydrographs for the South Heart River dams using the appropriate hydrometric stations. 2. Update the Inflow Design Flow (IDF) for the South Hear River dams based on the frequency analysis. 3. Assess the potential backwater affects for the hydrometric station in Figure 2.2. Perform the assessment to determine the backwater affects on the discharge at the hydrometric station near Peavine. The assessment should provide the rating curves that are affected for various reservoir elevations up to the top of dams The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
