The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Office of Design & Sustainability (The Board) is seeking proposals for appropriately qualified vendors to design, install, operate, and maintain photovoltaic generation systems (a "system") as described in Section 4.0. The preapproved list of vendors will be determined as a result of the best and responsive vendors for an initial group of projects, consisting of 9 facilities at the following locations: 1. Norland MS - 1193 NW 193rd Street, Miami FL 33169 2. Frederick Douglass ES - 314 NW 125h Street, Miami FL 33136 3. MAST@FIU - 14301 Bay Vista Blvd, North Miami, FL 33181 4. Palm Springs North ES - 17615 NW 82nd Avenue, Miami FL 33015 5. Andrea Castillo Preparatory Academy - 10201 NW 78th Street, Doral FL 33178 6. Coral Gables SHS - 450 Bird Road, Coral Gables FL 33146 7. Kendall Square K8 - 9325 SW 169th Place, Miami FL 33196 8. Miami Coral Park SHS - 8865 SW 16th Street, Miami FL 33165 9. Miami Palmetto SHS - 7460 SW 118 Street, Pinecrest FL 33156 The awarded vendors will respond based on the initial group of projects, however, the District reserves the right to add additional projects/locations, as needed. The initial term of the contract shall be for a period of five (5) years with five (5) one (1) year options to renew at the District's discretion. Options to renew will be evidenced in writing as a contract amendment to the resulting agreement, negotiated, executed and signed by the District prior to the expiration date of the resulting agreement or any valid extension thereof. Commodities (Other than Lease of Space) and Contractual Services (Including Professional Services and Insurance) - Pursuant to F.S. 287.042(2)(c), any person who files an action protesting a decision or intended decision pertaining to a solicitation or contract award shall post with the Board, at the time of filing the formal written protest, a bond secured by an acceptable surety company in Florida, payable to The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, in an amount equal to one percent (1%) of the Board's estimate of the dollar value of the proposed contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or technicalities, and to request rebids.
