The scope of the work for this project includes but is not limited to: Correct alignment of Curve #41 in the Lehman Yard Maintenance facility. The work will involve the realignment of the existing track layout to a 300-foot radius. The curve is currently out of service and cannot be used until the curve geometry is corrected. The existing track bed and substrate will be modified to accept the new track layout. The third contact rail will also be aligned to match the 300-foot running rail radius. The finished track bed will be tamped, and concrete ties installed, as required, prior to laying the running rails. The track will be tested, and the Safety Certification will be obtained before being accepted.
